The codes will be replaced soon OKTMO OKATO and officials plan to do it as early as 2013. This was recently told by the Ministry of Finance in its letter № 03-06-07/4358 of September 28, 2011. OKTMO codes is now being developed by the Federal State Statistics Service. And in the near future completely replace the existing National Classification of administrative and territorial division. Therefore, as zavilo agency officials during the transition time is recommended to use the new codes OKTMO. That is, starting from January 1, 2013.
